... yes, it surprises me I listened to that on purpose, but they were quite inoffensive. and incredibly bland, in the main adventure. not distinctive.
ghosts and dragons and nutty old ladies with a vacuum cleaner, fun
having a wishing story where you don't even learn what someone's wish was, blah
and then in the afterwards story she's all 'wish for more time with you'
and double blah
that could be anybody's wish. why bother with that wish?
granted, anyone still listening to these things wants to spend more time with the Doctor, but still...
doesn't help that I watched that animated Infinite Quest thingy and it had roughly the same wish.
difference there was it does tell us something about Martha that what she wants most is the Doctor
but it tells us nothing about Mel that what she wants is to travel with the Doctor. just a slight difference in phrasing and it's all blah.
there was one funny in the short story. silly fun. but

I only bought this one because I seem to have bought most of the ones in the shop (!)
don't reckon I'll seek out more like this
