The thing about college and reading for class is: I start out with a new reading list. I go 'ooooh, books!' I order the interesting ones and get the other interesting ones out the library. I read... at least part of them before I have to give them back. Then it gets on towards the end of the semester, and I've skimmed past the whole list, and I know I'm never going to actually read it before class is all-done, and I kind of want to sulk and go read about vampires.
It's not that it's not interesting. It is interesting, and I'm interested. Just... I'm sure there was more week in a week at the start of term.
So, right now, I have two books that have to go back tomorrow, and I've read chunks of both of them, including the bits that actually mention the texts we're studying. So that's good. And I have one book that's all about the text I want to write my essay on, and I've got two more weeks on that, and then I think I can renew it until after the holidays. And I've read a bunch of that too. But... mostly? I want to go read Doctor Who or books with Blood in the title.
Or possibly just go to sleep.
*sigh*
