Oct. 13th, 2007 05:07 pmAm reading Althusser.
:-p <--- taste bad face
So far he hasn't said anything that the textbooks didn't say quicker and clearer and rather better. But apparently going and reading what they're all talking about has some value. I can see how it could avoid playing telephone with theorists. But some of these dudes need massive lessons in clarity.
There's also the feeling of coming in in the middle of an argument where I can only hear one speaker and he's replying to stuff that it wouldn't have occured to me to object to.
So far I'm highlightering every sentence that actually makes sense and hoping I can stick them together to mean roughly what it says in the other book.
:eyeroll:
... ah, is past 5pm and I forgot lunch, that would explain some of the blah then...
So, food, then finish the stupid essay, then go back to the book as actually makes sense.
