am back at college.
I like that happy moment when I realise that I've done the right studying and Know Things.
Today me and the teacher agreed on the way the B text of Doctor Faustus is more Calvinist than the A text. Apparently no one else she has read agrees with us. But I still like that I noticed.
All the people that went on the organised London trip reckoned it was very good. They spent 3 hours on the train getting there instead of two because of engineering work, and then they walked along and had random people jump out and quote poetry at them and they never knew if any given random person was part of the sonnet walk or not. This to me does not sound like fun but it takes all sorts.
College has sent everyone the same letter about our complaint. It says they'll make a full investigation and reply within 10 working days. It said that on the 6th of April. Possibly they only count term time as working. ::)
Also our essays are not back because the office that puts everyone's names on them is Very Busy. I suppose sticking them in a heap and letting people find their own could go a bit wrong if they've already got the marks written on them...

Thursday I have to wake up at 0630 and strongly suspect my attitude will be slightly different.
Before then I have to go through every bit of paper in my house because the handouts we are supposed to work on for class have been put somewhere. Possibly somewhere safe. And there weren't spare copies.
... this could take some time...
