Now I wish to write fic explaining Why The Doctor Does Not Give Out His Phone Number, involving the TARDIS local equivalent of 0445 in the morning.
Only I'm not sure how often the Doctor sleeps, so I don't know when that would be.
I guess it starts "The Doctor didn't sleep very often. Not often at all. In fact he did not sleep even as often as a Time Lord metabolism would actually have liked, and now would be a prime example of why... *bzzzzz. bzzzzzz.*"


... now it's trying to be serious. like, if that trans temporal superphone was a newish invention and he went back and gave one to everyone he's dumped travelled with and then they start actually using it and suddenly he's getting calls from all over spacetime all at once.
