beccaelizabethI went to see Stardust! It is very good!
Dereham cinema is *not*. I'm not going back there again. I know I say that every time I go, but then it's a while later and I'm all 'how bad can it be?' And then I go and the screen barely looks bigger than my TV (yes it's bigger, but really, on screen 3 a big person could probably touch both sides at once. or at least could with a friend.) And the screen looks like it's been scribbled on by a 3 year old doing muddy fingerpainting, there's cobwebs hanging off the ceiling turning the picture into modern art, and half the film is out of focus! And yeah, okay, my eyes aren't perfect, but you could see them fiddling with it when it was just writing at the start, and as far as I could tell they didn't get it right.
I did meet a new person. An older lady who I don't think spoke to me. Oh well.
And I'm not sure I like sitting next to my new helper person, and that's somewhat unhelpful.
but, the film! Very good! And full of Names, and 'ooh, I didn't know they were in it' and lots of people who seem to be having fun. And sky pirates! Being somewhat unexpected! And really big fight scenes! And some highly amusing murders!
... I like it when things go splat. But that's okay, everyone else laugh too this time.
I'm definitely going to get the DVD of this one. I could watch this one a whole bunch of times.
