yes, that's less than before
but I realised what I'd done wrong
(put the end of the conversation at the beginning, thereby rendering the rest rather pointless)
so I had to back up to insert space for the conversation I actually intended to have.
all the rest of the words are still in the rough file, so I'll probably paste a bunch of them back in later.
but now I'm making progress towards a goal instead of just thrashing around. yaaay.

:)
back to being more than yesterday.
and ready to have actual conversation with content now.
I might need to back up an action or so, actually, and the bit of talking they have to do next is the one I got stuck on, so, still much work involved, but progress.

About 4000 words. 0330. Time to sleep.
Day after tomorrow I have to get up at 0800.
Tomorrow only to be ready for 1000.
so, some might say past time to sleep.
I'm just not good at sleep anyway.

The writing is really really slow. Sometimes writing is like sewing with the sewing machine. You just hit the power and go whizzing along. And, okay, sometimes you go completely wonky or make a line that looks really drunk, but you make, and make a lot. This is the other kind. More like making a quilt. A really fiddly one, all made up of triangles, and you're not sure where they go until you've put them in all the places at least once.

But the words I do have I think belong there.

See I forgot how difficult it is to have a conversation thats just a conversation. Not a briefing or report or verbal response to plot, just a couple of guys talking. Even if they're talking about something, still there is talking. I keep on getting the urge to drop in a wodge of backstory in totally the wrong place just to make them make words. I'm not sure I'll ever get the conversation working right.

but hey, progress, yaay.

intermittently I poke around to try finding mantras for Oz

today I found out that Blue Tara is associated with a she-wolf.
Picture of scary looking blue Tara, but other places call that one black Tara.
Wiki reckons Blue Tara is associated with transmutation of anger.
I still looking to find which mantra is that.

there are different traditions. some have 21 Taras.

did find a page full of Tara mantras

anyways, I put this here so I have it for later.

Also blue
Akshobya
Path of Transmuting Negativity
turns anger into Mirror-Like wisdom

Akshobhya's bija is Hum and his mantra is Om Akshobhya Hum.

The name Akshobhya means "Immovable" or "Unshakable."
So he gets put together (or mixed up) with Acalanatha, also called Acala (or, as usual, a bunch of other spellings), who is also Immovable, and blue. And one of my favourite statues, with sword and handcuffs, surrounded by flames but sitting on a rock.
But they are quite seperate.
