Jun. 21st, 2011 12:06 amHow is my brain today? Well I spent much of it listening to Linkin Park on YouTube. So, not so much good.
Could be worse though. Only like half the songs are so speaking to me OMG and they're mostly the ones that there's Doctor Who songvids to.
Also spent most of the day getting urban fantasy fight bunnies. They're like plot bunnies but you need to put an entire plot in place before you can get to kick someone's arse that way.
I got linked to Linkin Park while looking for buddhist meditation music. No, I don't know either, someone did a piano version with pretty nature pictures and I just had to go listen to the proper shouty one of In The End and, well, there goes my day. But while looking I did find Dharma Punx, which is interesting. Buddhism with lots of tattoos. Only seen a couple of YouTube bits but the emphasis on questioning everything and how thinking about death was part of what got Buddha moving is kind of easier to connect with in some moods than some other angles. Also there's a difference between explanations of attachment that involve words I don't even know what language they're in and explanations that involve the word 'fucking'. Offputting to different crowds I guess.
